     The Bloc Party is an all inclusive all ages event for radicals and residents alike! Join us in the park for a day of fun and festivities and help us celebrate community and explore alternative everything! If you're a resident of Frederick, come on down and help us start a community dialogue that can continue beyond the G8. It is what you make it, so show up, have fun and have your voice heard!

There will be:
   -Live music
-   Optional workshops:
    Homebrewing, Unschooling, Know Your Rights (http://wingnutrva.org/), canning, wild edibles, communication and other cool stuff in the works
-   Fun and games
-   Free food (vegan and otherwise)
   -Face painting and other things for children (and children at heart)
-   Guest speakers
-   Open Mic

-"Worker's Gripes" session
-Informational/educational/radical literature
-Interactive art
-A big Really Really Free Market (all day temporary gift economy! bring things to share!)
-"The Gripes Board" (a gigantic board for everyone write their own gripes with their social/economic situation on and watch it turn into a unified conglomeration)
-A brief Direct democracy training and a subsequent session with residents to actually decide a real thing
