You are cordially invited to attend a weekend of action to
coincide with the G8!
We envision a loosely organized, organic, free-flowing
gathering of local and traveling citizens participating together in the
democratic process by exercising our rights to peaceful assembly and free
speech.
We desire, hope for, and encourage all citizens—friend or
stranger, like-minded or otherwise—to join together in peacefully creating and
enjoying activities such as:
*being interviewed or photographed
by the press!
*holding up a sign!
*conversation!
*distribution of
informational/educational literature!
*inspiring speakers!
*workshops on a variety of topics!
*picnicking!
*games!
*music and dancing!
*activities for children!
*and a free exchange of goods!
We will gather in the beautiful common areas of our town
paid for by our tax dollars. Come enjoy
our tree-lined parks and walkways, conveniently located near merchants and
accommodations prepared to welcome you.
Times are tough . . . yet we can all work together to find
